To be honest it’s pretty unclear here too, I thought he was braindead and taken over by almuten but maybe not? Regardless I don’t think it matters to Yugeon whether he’s actually alive or not since all this time the only reason he’s been able to make it through this hellhole of a life was under the assumption that he would be able to save his brother… Losing him would make all the pain and suffering he endured pointless so I’m guessing he’ll cling on until the very end ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Lol, was I lacking comprehension while reading the novel? I really thought Heeseong was long dead since he got kidnapped at the hospital. In this part of the novel, I was thinking Yugeon is mad for saving a dead brother
