In my school we had cctv cameras even outside school there is no place where anyone can bully anyone but i don't know why these Korean and Japanese schools don't have one in school.
From where I’m from, it isn’t allowed to film anyone thats under 18. Even if the cctv is for safety it isn’t allowed. Cctv in stores and houses etc. is allowed though, just not in school. I don’t really know why it’s like this but yeah lol
In ours too we don't know if it works or not. But it was mainly for monitoring cheating, theft purpose. School was never bothered about anything like bullying but our teachers did.
We had just to see if there is anything wrong happening in school, teacher volunteer to help student not to turn blind eye like they do.
In my school, bullies when reported will be shamed along with their parents. Teachers when noticed bullying on spot will smack the bully so hard that they will never ever try to lay their eyes on their victim. I used to be a whiny and dominant as a kid to my benchmate who was never vocal about their complains. So people used to think I bully him and come defending like soldiers (which is I'm glad they did but it changed my personality 180° to coward and indecisive person). So I want people to take care of bully issues PROPERLY. Handling it badly like I mentioned about my school is as bad as ignoring it. It should vary for different age groups. If it's a child it must be disciplined so that a child can understand. If a high schooler does, make sure they really get the consequences.
