I don't think so, it's the male lead and the mom btch whose pathetic.
Like, instead of reassuring the mc, what did he do? Went to the engagement party instead (supposedly, since it got cancelled). Even after the got discharge, what did he do? Did he try to get to know mc better or did he take good care of him? Fcking no, he instead became more of an asshole and a fcking son of a bitch like he is. And the mother is is just fcking shameless, she just felt guilty to the mc that's why she took him in, not even taking him in but leaving in care to his younger brother who is btw an alpha, she couldn't careless about the wellbeing of his son, she just wanted to ease the guilt she had for abandoning the mc, she didn't even take the mc to a proper treatment, now she's reminding mc that he's not on the right track? Even though she's not even a 1/8 in mc entire life. Mc comes a very abusive household, when he was taken by the "mom" he already was suffering from depression Mc never once met a a really good person in he's life, let alone a friend,(at least what shown in the manwha). So I'd say mc is pretty strong for letting those fckers go run wild even though he was mostly the one who got hurt throughout the entire storyline.
There's many forms of depression. Even in real life some people choose to end their lives. It may look exaggerated from this story, but depression is real and if it not treated or no one aware if someone near you had depression, they bound to think that death is the only solution. They actually wanna end their pain but no body reaches them to help, that's why they choose death. From this story, you learn to always be kind to others, or the least you can do is don't speak or treat bad others. Who knows if some people are depressed in silence
For me the story is nice , but the thing I’m sure of is that the uke is SOOO pathetic
