Huh?

Why did the translation change Hikaru's pronouns and only refer to him as they/them when that's incorrect? Hikaru has always been he/him originally. Is this a translation error?

Also, I'm literally dropping this if the FL doesn't end up with Hikaru. Does anyone have any spoilers so I can be assured?? ╥﹏╥

Hmm, that would be very odd bc they/them pronouns don't exactly exist in Japanese, only in English. Pronouns work very differently in Japanese. Plus, Hikaru is a cisgender male who just likes crossdressing and isn't trans

But then that's inaccurate. I'd rather the translator put an asterisk with a long ass note like that one all acordijg to keikaku scene lmao cause otherwise that's how we got the whole world thinking mineta was in love with Midoriya
