In short mc loves ml before but ml loves rafael and mc is jealous he did something that caused all of the preceding events to happen like mc ordered someone to just scare rafael a bit but it turns out, he was assaulted and killed. That's why ml hated mc
ML did love MC at one point but couldn't be with mc, because omega verse homophobia(They are both alpha), and married rafeal , they did say then ml began to love rafeal but poor rafeal, he did not deserve what happened to him
If he loved Rapiel.. he wouldn’t have used him to antagonize Aeroc. He would bring Aeroc, to parade his happy relationship to him. He would kiss Rapiel and look at Aeroc, smirking, like wtf. Just leave Aeroc alone…
When Aeroc tried being cordial… but Kloff kept insulting anything Aeroc was doing, he was just trying to offer help. But Kloff made such a big deal about it…
I’ll be honest both Rapiel and Aeroc deserve different partners… I feel bad because Rapiel died and reading vol 5 Aeroc wasn’t even a bad person who just wanted to find love and be happy. They both would have been happy if it wasn’t for Kloff :(

When he finally had Rapiel… he realized that it didn’t make him forget aboUt Aeroc… which frustrates him. So he punished Aeroc… someone pointed out in volume 5 Kloff tells Aeroc that his envious of Rapiel for being an omega.. which Aeroc laughs at.
Because it’s Kloff who punish OG aeroc for not being an omega, he constantly shows Rapiel to Aeroc in vol 1. Making him feel less for being an alpha… he created that image of Aeroc..
