lol no. there is a difference between bl with action and action with a gay main character. what dont you get about the fact that it is action focused and not romance focused, even if there is any, means it not yaoi or bl or shounen ai. take tomb raider king for example, i’m not sure if you read it (it’s very good) there is romance in it but it’s so minimal you would never label it as romance. the same way that if the love interest was a man it would not and should not be labeled romance let alone bl. i dont know anything about your identity and dont want to assume but if you aren’t gay it might be hard to understand. this is basic levels of representation.

I get what your point is and it’s true on the romance aspect, but you brought this point as though we shouldn’t assume there wouldn’t be romance if Alea was a boy. My point was only to point out why it makes sense no one would expect for Alea to be Helmut’s love interest if she was a man because these stories are categorized specifically so we get to choose what we feel like reading. So yes, it would have to be tagged BL for us to expect that.
you know i just dont understand why make alea a girl when in fact its just so good for the character to stick being a guy. pushing romance authornim? just drop it please . uuuuggghhhh!!!!
