its 3:00am while I'm writing this message with tears in my eyes but I could not recommend this series enough
The first thing I have to commend is the pacing, I always find myself bored in the middle of a series (even when it's short) but push through because I only have a 'few' chapters to go. This series was different, somehow I got from the start to the end without ever having to worry about how much longer it would take
That aside, it's a beautiful story. The push and pull of Pauli's competing desires was so heart-renching to read at the end. That's not even touching on the discrimination she suffered throughout the story. I could not recommend it enough. When everyone brought out their swords at the end without hesitation it was dazzling that she could continue to be who she wanted to be and what she wanted to be.
