Hey Love, so Seo-in never had a twin brother, the mole spot being on the wrong side was a mistake, so that's why many of us first assumed that Seo-in had a twin. (The author confirmed it on her twitter)
The one that died was Seo-in adoptive brother, it just a coincidence that he has a mole as well. My theory so far is that the adoptive brother had some sort of obsessions with Seo-in, and that led to the kiss our MC witnessed.
