I mean makes sense, just because a spy gets his job done doesn't mean he got to be smart. Let's also consider the fact that he has no idea of what is going on. And to add it's real hard to write smart characters

Until now I'm still laughing at the fact that he picked up unknown number while hiding from Zhenya and whole South Korea and even started speaking first lol
Or when he tried to cross freezing ocean in kayak
Or when he had rifle and could shoot Zhenya but he decided to run from him and got caught under avalanche
Another time when he tried to use paraglider but got caught in trees and hung up there until Zhenya found him, I'm dying
List goes on, that man have zero survival instincts
Lol! I just started the Novel and I gotta say when it comes to Zhenya, all of Kwon's COMMON sense goes out the window.

Just to let yall know but Taekjoo isn't smartest apple out there, he's actually pretty 'dumb' for spy, I'm saying this as novel reader but don't be disappointed by this story because it will never get "better"
