I think because he only had it in his mouth for a moment, the transformation isn’t able to go far and I guess the first steps of it is hair removal = pre puberty

Is this implying that no pubes = childlike. Since the candy is supposed to make him into a kid but didn’t and just got rid of his body hair instead. So he has a childlike physical feature now? Or is this just a dumb little thing that happens in the story and I’m just thinking way too hard about it?
