A lot will happen, the mc has a good character development, some dramas/angst from here and there (also some annoying side characters, like any other manga). But the relationship between the mc and ml is strong, I remember the ml being understanding and supportive towards mc as the story goes. Last but not the least mc and ml remained together at the end.
Well, as he lives his second life, he rights his wrongs. With the help of the ML, he overcame the hardships and problems. It's a happy ending, with them getting married ofc. Go read it. Bear with it tho, istg, the grandma pissed me off badly
