From what I understand with Inas, he's not really an npc per say. He specifically was created in the same way the MC created the world. I think the idea is he had the potential for consciousness of sorts which did occur later but before then he was on a set track like everyone else. And that potential is what sets him apart from the actual npcs of the world, because they can't gain consciousness (I think?).
yeah i think inas definitely has a consciousness compared to the other new world characters, but i always regarded him as an npc bc he isnt really “human”(?). I guess i just expected inas to also be a human from the real world who reincarnated into the game world, and when it was revealed that he is also mc’s creation, i just lumped him in the npc category
From what i can gather so far:
- the world in which mc was reincarnated into was a world he created
- he died in his modern day reality and his consciousness transferred to his created world
-glarus, the god of mc’s created world, realized that mc’s existence in it was destroying (?) it, and so glarus tries to kick mc out
- mc leaves that world but is now trapped in a different dimension (kinda like limbo?), Inas is still in the old world
Also, it seems like inas is simply just an npc. He may have the ability to think of himself as an “outsider”, but since he was created alongside the world by mc, he has no true “consciousness “. In other words, he’s not a real person. Unless i suck at reading comprehension
I really LOVED this story right up until it got a little too meta. I feel like had the story ended much earlier with a slightly different approach (aka the later half of the story got a little messy), this would have been such an all rounder.
I will say, though, i still love this manhwa nonetheless. The plot, while getting pretty unnecessarily convoluted, is GREAT. Like ive never seen a plot plotting so hard. Also, the art is so fire. Like idc if the plot is convoluted (but still very good), the art itself does it for me. 10/10 fire manhwa
