i think woo-won also finds it frustrating. he wants to get out of this vicious cycle with his father, but… his trauma is real, especially with a parent. i also struggle with putting my money where my mouth is at, always wanting to change my own self-destructive tendencies, but still falling into the same pitfalls. it’s really hard to actually change, even when you want to, because humans are naturally wired to fear change. maybe seo-an can hook him up with his therapist or something, haha. Exactly, they just need to communicate and rely on each other a little more, cause Seo is also such a bad communicator as well lol. I can't come here and say it's easy to leave your pride aside cause its not, but something gotta give. I hope there's no much drama when he finds out and he doesn't take Seo an help the wrong way ╮(￣▽￣)╭
You're also very right, dealing with trauma is so difficult and change is not something that just happens overnight sadly. I also think that Woo Won finds himself in a comfortable position by not having to figure out a way to solve his issues with his dad. That is so much easier than fighting his dad and being presented with an unpredictable outcome in which his mom could get hurt. it's sad and oh so frustrating that we find solace even in suffering if that's all we've ever known. I also hope you overcome any struggles that may be holding you back, (I might be even projecting a little bit with my frustration with woo won, as i know he is also trying in his own way)
dude I try to understand where woo won's coming from but it's so freaking frustrating. he's always talking about trying to grow and change, and ultimately being able to overcome his issues for himself. But the thing is, he's not gonna overcome shit, he's just doing what he has been doing for a long time, and somehow getting himself more in debt, and for what? a couple of months at most with a little peace before his dad comes back to do the same thing, cause he knows woo won won't put a stop to his behavior. He needs help, because he clearly does not have the capacity to overcome this by himself and get himself out of this toxic cycle with his father.
