I don’t like Aria

Is it just me? I just read up till the part where she figures she can turn back time however she wants and I was like why would she get so lucky? What did she even do to deserve it? And honestly the whole thing was too awkward for me to read. A grown woman turns back time, gets into her younger self’s body and starts bullying a child. I don’t even know why she wants to take revenge? For her own stupidity? I mean yes the sister did tell her to do this and that which led her to death but honestly she should have had some common sense. Also, it’s true that the sister turns out evil or what not later but this does not justify bullying her as a child who had just lost her mother and her father brought a total stranger home. Besides, if her mother was so unhappy in the count’s house why wouldn’t she just leave? Even after seeing how stupid her daughter was acting? I have no problem with a political and smart fl who can do some questionable deeds to get what she wants but the thing about this was that the story doesn’t own up to it at all! You can’t just first say people are villains and be mean to then while they are children and literally hasn’t done anything wrong yet, torment them and then later give them reasons to be hated! It’s like the fl caused the sister to turn into a villain and not in a “oh she showed her true color” way but in a “let’s bully a child who in a past life persuaded me to do bad things and I was stupid enough to do them and turn her into a psychopath!”. This just does not sit well with me. The thing that makes this genre is how the mc grows and stops making the mistakes of her past. THIS LADY DOES NOT GROW AT ALL! She is not smarter or a cool strategist or anything! She just gets lucky! And she doesn’t even deserve that luck! I mean this whole thing got me frustrated and I wanted to see if anyone thinks like me.

Seriously! In her first life she “did” push the sister down the stairs and framed her as a thief! Why? Because the servants told her?! What is she? A robot?! And that is her villain arc?! I was too stupid and I blame others for it? And the funny thing is that she does the exact thing to the sister who is a child and definitely less intelligent than her who has lived a whole lifetime before! She could get wiser, she could get out of that house with her mother and try and become successful but no! She stayed and tried to rob two children out of their home!

I get your dislike for it, but i feel like your thinking is too simple. common sense is something most people gain as they age and go through life being taught one way or another by the people around them. However the fl was a poor kid on the street with a mother who was more likely at “work” then home. then all of a sudden she’s taken in to this huge house with money, clothes and food and 2 sets of people telling her 2 different things. if you’re not a noble, but a kid off the streets and constantly hearing “you’re a noble, don’t let her talk to you this way” “you can do whatever you want, you’re a noble now,” “spend money as you like you’re rich now” most kids will take that’s nd run with it especially a child who goes hungry and doesn’t no anything about the rules of high society.

i feel like you should give her the benefit of the doubt, like yes she may have come back to the past as an adult, but if you read it, the most she did to the step sister was act one way and try to steal her fiancé. she never tried to have her harmed until the very end. everything that happened to the girl was because everything she did to fl came back to bite her. so it’s not really on fl for her ending.

really didn’t mean to post so many times, I’m not sure why that happened, and I’m not sure how to delete it. My bad.

I see your point of view but I also think this whole story is not my thing. I just dropped it and will not read anymore. And I still think if she would do anything through her own effort, the story would have been better…still a very unlikable fl but at least she was doing something.

I wanted to know HOW you came to that conclusion? Later on it is explained why she has this power, but Mielle didn't do anything wrong?? She not only "told FL to do this and that", she is a horrible person who sees nothing wrong with her own actions, to the point of pushing her own father off the stairs just to try to kill the FL. I mean, I'm going to assume you didn't read the rest, Mielle is just a HORRIBLE person. FL has every right to have her revenge. After all, it was Mielle who brought her and her mother to death. For the simple reason that she didn't like Aria. You are seeing the story from a very stupid point of view.
