Tbh I get cirrus. It feels like shit when happy to lucky friends act so fucking surprised at ur fucked up family situation. The look on their face ugh, like the whole world has fucking ended. ‘It’s ok’ ‘I can’t believe this happens’ ‘why would this happen’ bruh opinions they fucking have to throw some pity party or whatevs that make themselves feel better like wowww, jaw dropping ain’t it. Just bcos u loved doesn’t mean everyone else is or has to be, it’s so fucking annoying.

I get that it's annoying. So if I ever face that situation, how should I react ? No reaction ? But would'nt it be awkward afterwards ?

Dont use them as you personal therapist to work through what you saw. Instead take some action. Do something nice or ask if they need anything or there's something they want to talk about.

In general, don't let them know that this has rattled you. Give the impression that you can handle this and that you have free capacity for them to unload some of theirs onto you - if you want to that is
