You know

I'm totally okay with Taewon being the ultimate choice, but I can't help feeling that it seems a bit contrived. Normally, we expect these stories to follow a predictable path, which is completely fine but this time feels a bit different. Even though Taewon made a big move by signing a restrictive contract with Mr. Kim for both him and Yusung to debut together, it still doesn't fully sell me on his love for Yusung. We're often told about his feelings, but I haven't seen enough moments that truly show it. It's not that I question his feelings; it's just that, compared to Yusung's dynamics with other characters, Taewon's emotions seem more narrated than demonstrated. There's a lack of buildup. Consider this: each time Yusung returned to the past, the version of him that Taewon supposedly had already fallen for is the timid and more of a collegue than a friend version, who he hardly have any real and genuine conversations with. So, it's a bit surprising to see Taewon making such a grand gesture for Yusung. Again, I am fine with this direction, however I would probably need more moments to be fully convinced that this was the best choice.
