Precisely my thoughts! I've been reading this manhwa for years and it's one of the first stories that got me hooked on the villainess/historial revenge troupe. Have I read better over the years? YES, DEFINITELY. Is the plot overused and predictable? Yes, for sure. But do I still loyally come back to watch the events play out? Yes!!! I still enjoy reading the chapters even if the plot is inconsistent and senseless, I'm so attached that I want to see the manhwa team's hardwork through start to finish. Plus with manhwas nowadays having such sophisticated storylines, it's nice to come back to a little goofy story that's easier to consume and digest then intense angst. I hope the artist knows people still eagerly come back to see this story even if years have gone by :)
I unironically love this one because it's kinda so shit that it's camp. It's not really BAD but it gives indie writer so hard that I feel like I'm supporting a child making their first comic. Like it's cliche and full of holes, and just, quite bad. But I'm attached to it much like someone would be attached to a dog so ugly that it's cute.
