Idk she just doesn't read as black to me. Did the author confirm that? If so, they did not make it remotely obvious. It doesn't really matter I guess. In my experience though I usually see Ravens as really pale white girls with jet black straight hair but I guess we've been reading different stories. I'm black too btw
