puberty for boys can be really surprising. i have 7 male cousins, and from what i've seen is that the longer they stay small and have their child-voice, the taller they grow later on. one cousin in particular went from 160cm to 186cm within a year or so at age 17. another cousin gradually grew to 170cm until age 16 and then shot up to 191cm by his next birthday.
as long as shuu eats well, does stretches and exercises his muscles, he will probably grow at least another 20cm once his puberty hits.
