Before I read is there a weird age gap in this

I’m gonna assume out of good will that you’re young and that’s why you’re saying this but if you’re older than you should know that as an older person it’s your job to say no if you’re approached by someone younger. I’m not accusing any character anything because I haven’t read it yet but I’m just saying as someone who is 19 my brain is not even as nearly developed as it will be when I’m 28 so

If you would be the 28 year old who would date 19 year olds just cause they’re legal enough for you then do that. Don’t try to convince me it’s not strange a full grown adult is messing with someone who is literally still classified a teenager lol

If this author had any other stories I will read them but as someone who has been the teenager involved with a weird ass adult I can’t read this in good spirit so I will leave it to the people who have no issue with the age gap and can enjoy the story . Cause it’s better that way than for me to read it and just complain every chapter

yeah i see were ur coming from but like,, also u should understand that 19 or not, the 19 yr old is very much an adult. obviously someone almost a decade older than u will think differently and have different experiences because they grew up 10 yrs earlier with a different upbringing and all, but that's not necessarily a maturity gap. and i personally believe who initiates a relationship is very important, like if the older one was the one who went after the younger one and the younger one was not so complacent, that would be very odd and not fun to read because it feels borderline predatory. the older one DOES reject the younger one at first because 9 years isn't a tiny age gap, but the younger one still persues her and all. I understand why ur afraid to read it, and I agree with u, typically that kind of age gap would be fishy, but i think the way its done in this manhua is done very well and without problem. its a very good gl and a very cute read, i love this a ton!! i definitely recommend u to read it, but if u still don't want to then that's alright

i understand that the age gap is questionable, But saying that this is predatory is far fetched.
If the age gap was like 15+ yrs thats where i would draw the line.

not saying it’s abt this manhua just a thing i notice that often in larger age gaps they tend to write the younger person to aim to pursue the older one so it’s “ okay “ which is always seen in teacher x student romances or so and it’s soooo icky omgg it’s why i couldn’t bring myself to finish boy on the slope or wtv it’s called cause of this weird age gap between the side characters. it doesn’t have anything to do with ur comment tbh it just reminded me of that lmfoaoaoa sorru

NO UR GOOD CAUSE I AGREE WITH U SO HARD.. they do that or they will make like the bottom character who is mistreated the older one so it seems less bad somehow?? like for some reason to them a younger person abusing an older one is more okay?? i see this stuff in manhwa/hua sm and its so annoying. like changing the ages around doesn't make the content better it feels so odd and bad either way.
im gonna go on abt this gl again.. not cause u or anything but i just wanna kinda like restate what i meant so nobody else thinks i like or actively defend massive age gaps. im js defending my dear lass im a soldier for it till i die!! so like in this manhua i don't see it as an issue bc the age gap is not for sexual purposes or anything cause there's no smut but rather for the trauma/personalitiy of the two characters. the younger one js finished school and is trying to run away from her family/past and I think the author chose to make her that age so like her trauma/past can still be fresh and have the same impact on her- like any later and she would've grown past it, learned to deal with it, etc. for the older one like the whole point of her is she basically wastes her whole life away romantically and everything wise and is like immature and has never grown up despite her years and like that's not the kind of thing that's possible to do with a younger character. idk LIKE im not a fan of age gaps and to be fair i would've liked this GL better if there wasn't an age gap like that at all but its still super good and cute. definitely not anything that should stop people from reading it..

I usually strongly dislike age gap, especially when it involve someone under 20 but this story is really sweet and good, and (spoiler) the older one wanted to drop the relationship when she realized the age of the younger, so the gap is not normalized. But I get your point, I also still would have preferred if they were older.
