It's understandable with all the trials of being a parent... But apologizing when you're in the wrong is honestly just a life skill, regardless of who it's to and their position to you. Your kids are human, your partner is human, your parents are human, your friends are human, and your animals have feelings and can sense yours. Everyone makes mistakes and knowing when to apologize, even if multiple people are at fault, how to apologize for your role in the mistake is a very important ability. Just a sincere apology. I'm trying to teach my brother this skill too. Mom makes him but he does it so obviously reluctantly... Heck sometimes being the first to apologize shows you in a way better light than never apologizing XD
