I agree with this....blind play,I kinda liked that also but I wasn't able to finish it...cuz it got stopped here....
Checkmate was goooood. Inseob has basically no character development and the other fucker is just comically villainous. The author is so focused on scenarios and moving the plot forward, shes completely forgotten about the characters.
DAMN… not getting to finish it is awful. i read some of it but waited for it to complete only for it to get striked down
right, say it louder for the people in the back!! inseob’s thought progression makes NO sense and neither did his motivations for the “revenge”. the ml is annoying to a fault where it doesn’t matter how he treats inseob… because mc is raped and assaulted yet he apologizes and not the other way around ?
some of the opinions down here… yall need to realize you can dislike a character and story while reading then complain? it’s not that big of a deal. dark stories aren’t exempt from awful storytelling just because you’re content with it lmao
for me personally, this story is written is horribly- putting aside the rape, bullying, and harassment the main character faces. no one is looking for a cutesy and fluffy story but yk there’s such a thing called BAD writing in psychological romance . to this day one of my favorite ones is checkmate (TAN). you have characters with depth, they’re crazy and unlikable yet readers enjoy the story AND its characters despite the rape and other terrible actions
