I am thinking he is on the psychopathy spectrum he is detached emotionallly but he still carried a sense of responsibility
Yeah, prb that. The mother prb was the only one he held such intense emotion. I thought he would have at least a tiny bit of love toward Jihwan because he's her child, however, I guess not.
So the dad's cold even to his family/kin, not only to his own son. Emotional detachment disorder maybe?
To his father, Jihwan is a mean tie down his mother but he failed at his only job and now being a nuisance to the father's reputation.
