i completely agree with you because man those people can be really annoying but I don't think the mc is one of them, he has a good reason to assume the ml is a homophobe because of that past scene where they showed the mc hearing the ml saying "ya I would be grossed out too if a man confessed to me" and since the mc still remembers the ml and everything about him since the very beginning of finding out that his ex crush is his neighbour it's pretty possible he assumed that because of that past experience
It may sound rude to some of the people but the white haired mc (gay neighbor) so feels like those gender activists who label people as this and that just cause they couldn't comprehend sentences.
I have no problem with whatever you are, gay, lesbian, trans, pan, straight; idc but what I'll care is that public display of horniness makes me super uncomfortable and I wouldn't want any of this happening to me irl. MC was just saying he was just uncomfortable with them going on like rabbits.
