Genuinely polyamorous relationships in comics are hard to find. Usually it's just 2 people in live with one person who agree to "share" but it's some sort of rivalry.
It's also hard to find stories to find more diverse MC's- usually all main characters are repetitive and predictable both physically and just personality wise. I actually really live stories about self acceptance / self love but usually these stories change how characters look and then they learn how to love themselves and people learn not judge people just on appearance. The repetitive and hypocritical plots make me sadd.
Love triangles but in shoujo 2 girls and 1 man or in bl 2 bottoms trying to win over a top, I think it’s always the other way aroundd
Yep, I totally agree with the first one, I’ve seen it too often lately and yet it’s always a love triangle in the end.
Second paragraph, phew, you are damn right and the saddest part is that it is sending the wrong message.
I’ve read some that fit the criteria, but I think it’s because since it’s mainly catered to women that we see the boys fighting for the girl or the semes fighting for the uke. For this particular second scenario, majority of 2 bottoms vs 1 top are omegaverse tho.
what is something you would like to see in a story but barely find at all (or have never found)?
for example, exclusive male POV in shoujo/josei or MC being endgame with a love interest that was never highlighted but it just made sense in the end (like the la la land movie)
