isn't there a folklore creature that eats 'bad' things? I mean there's the dream eater who eats nightmares, why couldn't there be ... and isn't that guy still looking for an arm? won't he go after hers?

well that's one way to look at it.... but her arm took in all those negative emotions... so ... couldn't he form an arm if he took those emotions (curse) away from her arm and attach it to a substitute (like another arm for him) I mean the 2 are connected ... so... yeah...><
