I’m currently on chap 550 ish of the English translated novel and so far no ml doesn’t remember the past… or at least the full past? There are some small (small) instances where it feels like he remembers some details, like the name he gave yuder in the past (yudrain), etc…

In their past life, kishiar and yuder had a sexually intimate relationship, but their romance wasn’t developed at all. I think this was because kishiar bonded to yuder during his manifestation/heat which made the relationship strained :’)) like I think Kishiar felt a lot of guilt over that. It’s hinted in the novel that bc his awakened skill is pushing/pulling things away from him, he’s tried multiple times to push the bond (which he can see physically like a piece of string between him and yuder) apart until it eventually snaps… not that it ever did. It’s obvious that they loved each other tho (imo at least) even tho they didn’t outwardly show it.
In the present, they do get to share a romance which is nice & super healing lol bc the past was quite traumatic for both of them. They’re so sweet together!! It’s worth the wait bc even tho this is a slow burn romance, there are lots of scenes when there’s romantic/sexual tension hehe c:
