I’m glad someone said it cause this is my biggest issue this far. Like, he barely acts like a 35+ yo man who’s crossed into another world with how easily flustered and exaggerated his reactions are to something/someone new. I really hope it gets better, but i just came from reading a comic with a narcissistic personality type character hoping for a character development to at least show sincerity somewhere and i don’t want to spend another 100+ chapters hoping for the development only to be disappointed again
Right. Anime onlys noticed his problematic attitude/behavior, too.
After reading chap 32, I agree with some of the comments here about Ars being annoying and the constant switch of personalities esp when meeting new people.
He was already looking calm and collected and has grown when he again met with the lords of Canale after his father's death. Then he became too scared/flustered again in the next scenes after meeting the leader of the shadow compared to Lysia's demeanor/attitude and after learning he'll meet Lord Kran.
This is not a normal behavior/demeanor of a lord/noble and for someone who's been studying/training for almost 12 years (esp when he also has a mind of a 35-yr old man). Rietz is better suited to be a lord/noble compared to him tbh.
But i'll keep reading hoping the author will write his character/personality better (I'm at chap 40 now).
