NAH Cause your opinion sounds really interesting and opened my mind even more, cause your right, why does Doha have the 2 tapes in the first place and why is he hiding them from bada? Everything you said made me question if bada really is an NPC and Doha is also a player (I LOVE YOUR OPINION, makes me question the whole chapters)
i have so many question on this.
first of all, i keep wondering why bada can't kill the killer? given that he's supposed to be the 'main player' of the game, i haven't seen the other NPCs attempt on killing the killer but i'm going to assume that they can't cause you know, they ARE non-playable characters, that's what non-playable characters do. so why can doha kill the killer? if he's supposedly an NPC... unless he's not? he's too insane to not be an NPC. imagine... going through the same stimulation, again and again. me personally, i would lose my morals, i would begin having trust issues, i would be wary of everything.
second of all, in the early episodes where doha (ML) found a way to save his part of the game, he found a new cassette tape and cassette player. doha found that new cassette player so naturally? (is it just me who thinks that?) it felt so convenient? not just that but the last episode where he conveniently finds the hidden compartment to hide bada's cousin. that felt too natural for him as an NPC.
also in chapter 13, doha asks a question about the cassette tapes and why bada disposes of the old ones. bada explains it just how a game would, its a checkpoint, you don't need the old cassette tape, you only need a new one to save ur game progression. he also goes on to say that keeping the old cassette tape wouldn't matter cause next gameplay that cassette tape would disappear. BUT chapter 30, doha has 2 cassette tapes, the yellow one obviously from hyungshin as it was shown at the start of chapter 30 the colour of his cassette tape. but who's is the blue one with a V or a check mark on it, is this to symbolise that that cassette tape is the gameplay for the ending? cause its a check? a check means completion. did someone complete the gameplay? if so who?
also its weird that bada doesn't have any idea about who he originally was outside of the game. given the amount of reincarnation game webtoons i've read, a lot of them stayed in there game/setting for years (game time) and they're still aware of who they originally were. i don't know if its because bada's been going through so many endings, figuring out clues and what to do next, has he been in that game for so long to the point of forgetting his original life? i don't think so, unless he doesn't have a life outside the games... his life exists just within the games...
my theory on this is that doha and bada were both players in this game. maybe they both played already, and something happened, something about trust. given how doha's always on about trusting and getting upset when he puts his guard down. maybe someone betrayed someone. another take on this is that bada is an NPC, he's just believing that he isn't. maybe he already completed the game, or he was in the nick of completing it. but doha stopped him, would that explain why he has two cassette tapes? who's to even say the cassette tape is bada's what if someone else in the game is a player? would this correlate to the paper they saw in the abandoned house? the 3 missing people? or what if, two of the three tried finishing the game without the one person, doha did mention you can hide clues to prevent the person from going to the next stage. did bada team up with that other player in order to leave the game? is that why doha's so stuck up about trust?
