I like mcs relationship between her named thingy and the younger brother. The younger brother(michael) somewhat reminds me of my own brother, so I’m liking the development between them so far. Bickering like actual siblings. It makes sense about the distance after the orphanage trip. No matter how hard he tries, it seems like mc will always try to leave their house for the orphanage.
I’m not sensing much romantic vibes, i know it’ll change later, but this is nice for now. Romance aside, i hope mc can develop a proper relationship with the older brother. One that’s not only built based on romantic love or guilt..
I also think it’s reasonable why mc is still closed off. She def has ptsd, which doesn’t go away quickly. Yeah, it’s 47 chapters right now, but it’s only like a months time in the actual story. I wish i could move on from abuse after a month,, mc does recognize where things have misunderstandings, like the younger brother being swayed/misled by the blonde chic, leading her to be a little more open with him. Their relationship is still weak to her, which was why she accepted it potentially ending right then and there. For the older bro, nothing indicated that they could’ve had a genuine relationship from the past to present, so she still has her guard up around him.
