Considering how terrible the MC's skill is initially, the Tower must've balanced it out by making so that all skills acquired upon death are permanently attached to the MC regardless of the current state of things.
Imagine how unfair it would be to the MC to give him a skill that not only requires a second unique skill to be useful, but is also limited in it's usage. The Tower would thankfully never allow a situation like that to happen.
im confused.. if he returns all the way back to when flame emperor hasnt awakened yet, wouldnt he also lose his powers as well, as he would khs on the day before he awakened as well? unless he awakened later than 11 years, but they never mention that. just a little weird plot hole lol
