i have to second to this because killing to them is literally their second nature.. they literally create doppelgangers to kill so it's not surprising he doesn't care about it and just worried about his creations.. plus the fact that he was an ex-incubus probably meant that sex was well, nothing to him
but i still loathe and think that the guy should suffer. he knew very well that what he was doing was wrong, the scene of him crying showed that. he knew how severe it was.
