i agree but i feel like its more of a character thing where they want to make it so that the ml has a more laidback and open-minded personality, i feel like its so unnecessary though because its basically a loophole to romanticise these hot men in gay relationships but also, bl is made to cater to female readers (i personally don't like i but that's the way it is) so authors do that a lot
I personally don’t care if the character are gay/bi because I don’t include my self as an uke/seme. I view stories from a 3rd perspective. I am more focused on the development of the characters than including myself in the story(which I feel like it’s weird to even include yourself)/ But is there actual people that pretend that the uke/seme is themselves? I find that weird.
sorry if I sound bifobic but why those writers can't make those hot tops being gay?? always they but as Bi to satisfy some female readers
