I feel like it's cause one, the son is a child who only wants love and affection from his mother, and Secondly the ML already loved his wife so much he basically reset his brain once he saw he got a second chance with her. That's just how I see it, plus we haven't fully seen how horrible she truly was just second hand explanations, so we arnt as iffy with her since it's a new person in the body.
It’s a clear difference since both the son and husband love her so much that they don’t care as long as she continues to love them again. It’s likely that those people DID experience the real her and her kindness and love for them, so that left an impact and had people hoping she would return to how she was before and didn’t truly believe she’s a bad person due to their memories

like in comparison the male lead Ciels action in that webtoon are worse but it's not like the female lead in THIS webtoon is any better
like her past action although not as bad are so horrible
and just because she forgot her memory's and was forgiven doesn't excuse them

Everyone in the comments seems to feel iffy about him cus he treated the female lead bad
But in this webtoon no one feels the same about this female lead although she did bad
i know it's not the same soul in the body or whatnot but deep it. she barely had any challenges to being forgiven even though she was so horrible to everyone before.
