I Totally agree on that, don't understand when people are complaining about scenes like those but keep coming back for more.
That said, I'm a bit bothered by this side story too - I'm still gonna read it though, because I loved the main story. I don't mind the smut, nor threesomes, or these agressive scenes, it's not about that - I mean, it was like that from the beginning. :D
I just didn't expect the side stories to be like this. I think most of the people - here, now - are mainly just disappointed? I get it that it's a "what if", but in my opinion, it doesn't add anything to the story, if anything, it takes away from it. It ended so nicely, then BUMM, just a brutal smutty threesome dickslap in our face.
But of course I can only talk for myself. I mean, it's the author's fantasy, and a lot of us had the same thought once or twice (regarding the threesome.)
I love Taesung, and I think that he's an extremely possessive type, not some who'd share, so for me these chapters are quite inexplicable. And I think Minhyuk fans also wanted something a bit more romantic - not 100% lovey-dovey, this is not that manhwa, just maybe a slightly... kinder approach? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Maybe if this side story was the middle one, and not the first, it would've been better? Threesomes are hot. But for some reason, this one is just not it. Someone here wrote that it left a bad taste, and that's how I feel too.
Right? This never came off as a wholesome lovey-dovey story to begin with. I never expect side stories, especially a "what if" scenario, to add anything to the story. Pure fantasy and non-canon. It's feeding the shippers out there. If it's not feeding you, just don't read it

From the first chapter of the side story, one could already tell that this wasn't going to be fluff/cute. And as I said, this story clearly indicated dark themes from the beginning. You've read the whole thing until the end, and you're surprised that the side stories are like this? What is so shocking about a BL story with themes of rape and abuse centering the side stories around... rape and abuse? By the way, I'm obviously not talking about those who are deciding to drop the story, but those hypocrites who come looking for a cute romance story in "Legs That Won't Walk" of all BL stories, lmao. You hate shit like this yet you're still reading the scenes you find disgusting.
There are BL stories that are "wholesome," "cute," or whatever adjectives that fit your taste. THIS is not that BL.
it's clear these people have completely read the entire story based on how they phrase their thoughts. i just find it stupid to find things that clearly don't exist in such a story.

There is literally a trigger warning at the beginning. If you hate noncon, which has been recurring in this BL since the original story, don't fucking read it. You all keep saying how you dislike the themes in stories like this every chapter, yet you continue reading each update and announcing the same complaints in the comments. I understand that it's not for everybody, but I don't get how you keep consuming stories you all claimed you dislike and then proceed to nitpick every little thing. You guys do this in other stories like Jinx too.
