I actually feel bad for wilhelm. He did everything and carried out Rein's revenge but she still left him.
Well she did have every intention of staying with him forever, then she found out he plotted the cold blooded murder of her closest friend. If he hadn’t done that, they never would have separated. I get that he helped her through everything, but that’s not a small indiscretion to just get over. I don’t understand why people act like she was just ungrateful and left him over some little spat. What he did was a big deal. She was even willing to consider forgiving him , but he failed her test because when he saw Dietrich alive his first reaction was to go for his sword, just confirming that he was malicious.
But she treated their son horribly. Her own flesh and blood. She is just a selfish person. She doesn't care about others since she only cares for herself
I haven’t gotten that far yet and obviously child abuse is never acceptable, but just within their relationship, her choice to leave was completely understandable. They’ve both done some sketchy stuff, but I’m talking about their actions within the framework of their relationship. People keep shitting on her for leaving, then turn around and justify shitting on her for all these other reasons (that have not been confirmed in the comic yet, but are from the novel it’s based on) that are completely unrelated to Dietrich killing Dietrich, lying about it, then reacting negatively when he found out he was actually alive.
