I know reading lezhin comics without paying is illegal but some girl asked koogi "where is new chapter i cant find it" and koogi replied "where did you read before you have to pay for my comic."And girl said she read it from mangafox. Now mangafox is gone. Lezhin can do that? Can close sites just for manga? And instagram accounts? (Btw thank god she didnt say mangago djdjdj)

Omg I can't believe people are so fukin dumb. Like we need to get people to stop doing shit like that. When Hirunaka no Ryuusei was being scanlated and got popular, people went to twitter and kept asking and telling the mangaka they were reading it for free on illegal sites. In the worst case scenario they can completely stop giving it out in english on lezhin. Damn.

I don't understand why everyone is over reacting. Mangafox, mangago and other mass manga sites aren't going anywhere. I'm sure Lezhin is aware of these sites but for whatever reason is unable to do anything about it. It might seem like common knowledge but some people do not know that you are supposed to pay for it. If this site or any other were to get taken down, there's still plenty of other places to view manga legally and illegally. We are not entitled to people's hard work for free so if the owners ever want to do something about it they have every right to do so.

I think that girl need to reeducated no way you can read for free for legal manga

Yeah i believe lezhin from the start already aware of illegal sites, that's why they protected their manhua so reader cannot save images

Sometines i buy coins from lezhin, read there and after i read usually it's ended up on sites but i don't have any hurt/bad/sad feeling cos i read first and i feel like my manga collections is increased

In theory, if a site is hosted in the US, rights holders can send a take down notice and have copyrighted materials removed. If whoever posted the questioned materials thinks the notice is in error, they can take action too, but I'd have to Google exactly what form that should take. Instagram will probably honor a take down notice.

Having infringing works removed is harder to do if the site is not hosted in the US or a country that has similar laws. Closing a site would be even harder. It is not impossible to at least temporarily close a site--every so often torrent sites are closed down and it can take months before they show up again using a different country's servers. But in terms of controlling the entire Internet, I think it would be impossible. Every time one site is taken down, 5 more spring up. It's like cutting a head of the hydra.

But if people buy what they can whenever they, that would be great. It may make it possible for people who create, publish, and legally host such stories to make a living. I know everyone can't or won't buy, but if enough people do, we all benefit.

To add to this, Lezhin is not the only publishing company who has copyrighted work infringed upon. Plenty of publishers have tried to shut down aggregated sites since they first appeared. It's a never ending battle. If they do successfully shut it down, then so be it. It's not legal in the first place so no need to overreact about it. Enjoy the site while you can, but stop acting like you're entitled to it.
