I don’t know attached to him as a character. I also never got to find out what age he actually was in the last life he had he feels very kind of entitled that’s not the actual word, but I don’t know not clever, but like Heidi.

I'm not bothered that he overlooked the idea of changing the plot. I like that MC is imperfect. He THINKS he's already clever since he had lived longer bt there will always be misses and wrong understanding, he cant alwYs be correct or perfect with his decisions.
