may i ask, who's charles? sasyas son? like biological son?
Charles is the kid he adopted. He gave some money to a women in the slums, but she was murdered over the money, so he took in her child.
I’m still not sure why Karel thinks Sasyas just abandoned him out of nowhere. Karel lied about when he was coming back, and Sasyas was already unstable. So he waited longer than he was supposed and Karel came back.
Also Sasyas tried sending a letter to Karel but they thought he was a Russian(?) spy, so the letter never got sent. So it wasn’t like he upped and left without trying to telling him.
Man all I want to Sasyas to be happy. He needs to tell Karel about Charles, and Karel needs to stop playing these games.
