For real plus SY was reading MC messages so unless ML took the phone and is reading the messages it wouldn't really make sense. I don't really approve that he hurt/threatened SY, he didn't mean any harm to the MC unlike Gyujin but he a little coo coo, so can't be helped.
Side note: I kinda wish MC was a little on the unhinged side as well so they would suit each other better but ML isn't too crazy compared to other seme. As long as he doesn't harm MC physically or emotionally for his personal gain I'm willing to forgive and support everything he does lmao
