Agreed! If you like stuff like this, go check out Himemiko's/Rock'n'dolless Dj, I personally adore her art and especially her ErenxLevi Dj.
There's also some underlying psychological tone to it.
As for another tragic but beautiful story, I recommend "Hermaphrodite" (it's a 10 part Dj for Fullmetal Alchemist with Roy and Edward).
I was lucky enough to be able to find and purchase the entire series as physical copies, that's how much I love it lol
