Tbh it's hard for me to believe when people say they have PTSD from reading something 'cause most of the time it isn't actual trauma it's just them feeling uncomfortable from it.
I have C-PTSD, some of it is from media, but it was due to my step mother forcing me to watch horror movies as a small child despite me literally screaming and throwing up begging her to let me leave lol
Now I'm a lot better with horror since I'm 30 and been through therapy, but I still tend to have lighter responses to it from time to time. I also don't use it as an excuse to complain about how someone portrays something-- especially in a gay smut webcomic lol
