So I know this isn't the place to ask for advice but like-
Gimme a minute here-
So. My mom found the men's podcast where they sit down and say a bunch of fucked up ahh shit. More specifically, that Tate guy and this other white guy idk about. They were saying no matter what you do, there is a line to fame that you cannot cross unless you join the gay people. You would think "Oh they mean be supportive of them?" Nahh bitch, they mean a secret gay people club would force you to have sex with them for you to be famous. That's crazy, and this woman believes it. She always say she's not homophobic or whatever but her actions and her views says otherwise. Anyways I found it crazy, I told her I highly doubt that's the case, I only know that for companies they have to have points for being inclusive so that those rich faceless ppl would continue funding and feel safe funding. I rolled my eyes when she kept going and then she went all mad nshit. The thing is these guys were saying what made Tate not as famous as he was before is because of these gay people. Mf he said fucked up shit? Tf does the gays have anything to do with that? Now she wont talk to me and idk what to do. Anyways I just know I'll leave this house one day and go no contact.

Yeah I mean it depends how much your relationship with your mother matters to you. Based on the last line, I assume you prefer it ended sooner rather than later…
if she isn’t talking to you and you don’t care then don’t do anything. If you maybe still want her in your life you may just have to ignore some of her opinions… if she won’t educate herself it’s just not something you can control

My mom is also racist and somewhat homophobic (love gays but not lesbians), she's treated me like shit and always favored my sister more. Safe to say I keep her at a distance, I still acknowledge her as my mom but I don't call or text her. After college, I might never go back home since I'll have my own job and apartment, planning to move overseas as well. If you're close to her family side, I would maybe just keep her at a distance. People don't need to cut off their parents completely because of their awful views and it is possible to have a daughter/son relationship with her
