I don’t think that was officially explained yet, but it was kind of implied because of the one mandala flower (the girl with the long white hair idk remember her name) she lived way past the normal human lifespan and they also said she tried to kill herself multiple times, but it never worked, implying that she herself was also immortal.
After all themanipulation by his master, he is finally standing up for himself. He has every right to be mad that is master impregnated him(a whole man) without telling him and then turned around and wants to kill the baby, again with him knowing. Jaegal gave up his humanity a long time ago so he may not have really accepted that Hwan is still human and will die long before Jaegal regardless.
