Your not the only one, i dropped countless stories because it got boring or the art got really bad ( i care about art a lot) i feel so frustrated thinking about how a story was so good but suddenly the plot gets bad and i totally lost interest,...
I do it in any genre. As long as the characters started to piss me off I drop lol.
In action genres I specially dislike it when there's too much girls clinging to a male character, dressed like there's a cloth material shortage, big boobs like balloons, tripping and falling at the Male character outta no where, op then when Male character is around they become weak and needs saving, blushing out of nowhere, clingy ladies like they are in heat, and more lol. I prefer my action to stay action focused. If I wanted romance and ecchi I would've gone to those genres instead.
In BL I dislike pushovers, dumb characters that always needs another character to solve their problems, clingy to the point of annoyance, I ESPECIALLY hate... MISCOMMUNICATION, no character development, etc.
I can try to be patient but when nothing gets solved after 30+ chapters then I drop.
In shoujo, mostly isekai lol. I don't like MCs that acts like a know it all then does something dumb, always thinking about following the damn OG stories when they already affected the story just for being there themselves, etc
anyways so so much more really. It's either you hold out and be patient hoping for the best or you reach your limit and drop I've ranted in a lot of my comments before and I also unsubscribe to those shit stories. Some I drop even with high ratings. When I don't like something I just don't. Other people can't force people to like something they don't lol.
