I remember when the story was just released, the whole self-cest was just so so weird and if it was another story, I would have ditched it but the thing is, the plot of this thing is entertaining as hell xdd I went to look for the novel and I was surprised how well written it was, like for such a wacky story it's not boring at all to follow this/these MC. What I liked most is how "clear" the feelings if Fang Yeyin are, like it's not like he genuinely falls for himself but he's just stuck with that situation because he's too selfish to die xd

Maybe it's just cuz I love the author but I'm actually kinda chill with the whole plot. It's definitely weird as fuck but the arts not bad and knowing what mc did in the past it's a sorta "you deserve it" kinda situation loll but if I'm being completely honest
I think the main reason mc could only be with...himself is because we saw even when he came back when put into that position of power he takes advantage of it so when he's stuck with himself it basically keeps him in line as they are both, himself and himself loll, extremely prideful thusly keeping himself in check, this of course is only if I somewhat look past the self-cest which in of itself is wild af and throws me off lolll ik if it wasn't for loving the author and good art I wouldn't give a shit about this story but it is wut it is loll weird but in a way funny
