Hi this is the translator, London. The latter half of volume 10 and 11 are already translated for kazeki. Those scenes were translated by a different team, that had the same idea in mind that you do. They only translated gilbert and serge's story.
My scanlation crew is going back to translate everything that was missing inbetween; this unfortunately means a lot of coverage of side characters. Feel free to download volume 10 and 11 online.
We are around half way through volume 9, and then we will begin releasing from vol 12, which is when the storyline switches to gilbert and serge and never goes back to other characters ever again. Sit tight. Happy reading.

There is also a written epilogue story between rosemarine and jude, during a concert by Serge. They discuss life after the main spoiler of the series, how carl, pascal, serge, augu and their own situations are fairing. I would reccommend not reading it, if you aren't privy to the original story's end.
We have finished a chapter for a while now, but our leader hasn't released it yet. Idk what the hold up is, but it should be out eventually. It's just a matter of getting it up the ranks so everyone can look at it before the release!

Personally, I'm more interested in Auguste, Jules, & Rosemarine's backstories, since they weren't in the movie all that much. Plus Auguste's backstory has a lot of weight on why Gilbert ended up the way he did.
Jules and Rosemarine have a written short story that takes place after the series is over. you can find a translation of it somewhere online. They talk briefly about marriage, the fallout of events in the finale of the original series. Augu does not have any more backstory chapters; you've read them all. If you want to check out the raws, they're easily available via a quick google search. Happy reading.

I mean I understand providing backstory to understand the main characters , like Gilbert's past, but is there really a need for volumes on August and Arslon, I mean its been volumes since I saw Gilbert and Serge in the same chapter....wish they'd get back it.. （￣へ￣）
