Lau is so mean to him

I think he just doesn’t know how to express his emotions and is just lashing out at him. I think he has feelings for Xin, but isn’t fully aware of it yet and there master and bodyguard relationship muddles things. So I think Lau is having a hard time because he doesn’t know what part of their friendship is genuine and what is just because of their roles of tradition and being master and servant.
