Hmm, I think that this manga handles it quite well. What Ikuta-san actually said was that the police would be no help because they'd just see it as a "gay lovers quarrel," and reporting it would cause a lot of problems for Ikuta-san himself, because people would find out that he's gay. In a conservative, often homophobic society like Japan (don't let yaoi fool you, there's a reason "fujoshi" means "filthy women"), that's all actually true. It's a huge deterrent for gay people reporting rape etc. - same as it was in Australia/USA about 20-40 years ago, and it's even still like that in some areas of our countries, and for some people. All of this being the case, what the hell are people supposed to do in that situation?? They kind of have to cope with it and settle it as best they can on their own, however they manage to do that. I'm not saying that's good!!! Just that it's understandable.
...Also, aside from not going to the police (as I've said, understandable), what's wrong with the uke?? I like him. And there's something really nice about Ryousuke being the only one he shows his true self to.
he fucking rapes him and all is forgiven!!! this fucking pisses me off everytime!!! what the fuck is wrong with getting that fucker arrested...and oh now i love the seme...fuck off what a load of shit!!! I cried over how stupid the seme is to be in love with that uke!!
