May be a misinterpretation, but Fusako likens Kasane's name to the flower on her meisen during their childhood, so the flower sort of symbolises Kasane's love for her in a way. The "Are you pitying me?" line could be because Shouji chose the design as a homage to Kasane so she wouldn't be forgotten, and the insult towards her is due to it being a bitter reminder that she didn't win her heart.
idk if i missed it or if im just slow but can someone explain to me why fuko's meisen design was a stab to kasane? i rly didnt understand the part where kasane said "are you pitying me?"
